Life of the party!

I heard a great saying that I thought fit with the way I conduct and desire my business to run. It goes like this:

It's not about being the life of the party -
It's about the life we bring to the party!

That life with Joyful Sounds would be the Light of the World, the Living Waters - The Life - Jesus!

Fun reception game for newlyweds

Recently, when I DJ'd a wedding reception, I was reminded of a really fun game to play with the newlyweds. The couple sits back to back, the groom holding one of the bride's shoes & the bride holding one of the groom's shoes. When asked a series of questions (chosen by the DJ, and I would chose questions that would be guest-friendly), the bride & groom raise the appropriate shoe.

Oh Happy Day for Christians at the Grammy's

Though the Grammy's seem to side step some awards, including the Christian "gospel" music awards; some Christian artists came away with a Grammy on Sunday night.
